Our Faith, Hope  and Love as Young Adults

Jesus was speaking of the Parable of the Great Feast, “The kingdom of heaven may be likened to a king who gave a wedding feast… Many are invited, but few were chosen.” There was a person who came in the wedding without a wedding garment, and he was thrown out into the darkness where there will be wailing and grinding of teeth.  (Mathew 22:1-14).  Are we ready to attend the wedding feast in heaven by how we live our life?  Or we are invited, but do not live out our faith?  What can we do?  First of all, we must prepare ourselves with faith, hope, and love by living out God’s commandment.  To do that, we must be associated with the Catholic faith through our parish, Our Lady of Lourdes.  Secondly, we help others or our neighbors to live out God’s commandment.  Third, we know that this earth is not our true home, and our true home is in heaven with God.  We do not live here on this earth forever, and we cannot take any material goods with us.  All we take is our soul and being filled with faith, hope, and love in Jesus and our neighbors.
